Technical Problems
We are experiencing some sever technical problems following a move to another host. Please excuse the inconvenience, we are aiming to get the content of the site back up and running within the next two weeks. Having assessed the work required we would like to take this opportunity to perform a long overdue overhaul of the website. This should improve functionality, and draw upon lessons learned over the last few years. Again, please excuse the inconvenience. |

Inclusion Any course that has a discernable focus on, or relevance to international development and humanitarian aid can be included in the directory. We welcome all courses ranging from short to degree level courses, held in any country. If you’re unsure please get in touch.
Cost
Option A
Inclusion is free of charge on condition that you link back to our site. This link can be placed on any of your development-related webpages.
Option B
If you are unable, or simply prefer not to link back to our site, we would kindly ask you to donate a minimum of £100 per year to our initiative. Donations can be made by clicking the "DONATE" button on the left hand side of this page.
Terms of Inclusion
In order for this resource to serve its purpose as well as possible, the course details you provide must be maintained so as to be accurate, complete, and up to date. It is therefore the Training Providers responsibility, and in the interests of all those using the site, to assure the quality of their course entries. Our team is happy to assist you should you have any queries.

Registration takes less than 1 minute. Make sure to visit the link provided by the validation email that you receive a few minutes after registering.
2 Request an Institutional Membership
Email us from your organisation's email account to request institutional membership at: TheEditors@Studying-Development.org. Once we receive your request, we will setup your Institutional Member account, and email you to confirm when it is ready. Together with your request, please attach the following so that we may setup your account:

The profiles that you can edit directly are the departmental profiles for universities, and more specifically training-related information for other organisations.
- Membership Statement
Please provide a short quotable statement about what you think of the Studying Development initiative, and why you chose to add your courses to the directory. Your quote is posted on the homepage together with your logo and links to your courses when you first join. An example can be seen on the right hand column on the homepage.
3 Login to add your School/Institute/… profile & courses
Once you receive the above email, you can add your profile and courses. Once you are ready to publish any of your courses please notify us by email and we will review and approve them.
4 Allow us to review & approve your additions
The review process takes less than 2 days, but varies depending on the quantity submitted. We will often be able to review and publish your courses within the day.
5 Publish & Revise your profile & courses whenever needed
Revise your profile and course descriptions anytime to keep them up to date.

Do I have to add my logo to each course?Yes, in order for each of your courses to be displayed with your logo,
you need to upload it to each course entry. In future we will
streamline this process.
Are there web browser compatibility issues? As for most sites yes. In short, for users simply viewing the site all
major browsers will render properly. However if you are an
institutional member and will be using the interface to add and edit
courses, we recommend using either of the following:
PC users:
Internet Explorer 6.0 and upwards, Netscape 8.0 and upwards, Firefox 1.0 and upwards
Mac users:
