Training Provider: Monterey Institute of International Studies (MIIS) Contact Telephone: +1 831 647 4123 Courses: 1 Education for business success in this globalized century must include fundamental business skills, a rich array of specialized learning options, and exposure to the international business community. To an unrivaled extent, this describes the Fisher School at the Monterey Institute. Core competencies include quantitative methods, analytical tools, cross-cultural teamwork, language skills, and international business planning. The Fisher School MBA program is uniquely personalized: Students with previous academic business background may complete the Advanced Entry MBA in on year. All students can design their program around specializations, such as corporate social responsibility and international marketing. Fisher also offers an MBA in conjunction with the U.S. Peace Corps. As the nation's first and only MBA program housing a federally funded Center for Globalization and Localization of Business Exports (GLOBE), Fisher School students gain unparalleled professional experience, working with faculty on consulting projects for companies seeking expansion into international markets. Students may also take courses at other Monterey Institute schools, in areas such as environmental management, public or nonprofit administration, or trade negotiations. This progressive mix adds tremendous value for career success in international business and organizational leadership.
