AusAid launches new scholarship program for Filipino citizens
Contributed by Minda News
The Australian government recently launched a new Asia Pacific scholarship program for emerging and current leaders to graduate courses and academic fellowships in Australia for Filipino citizens under 42 years old within the year of application. In the next five years, the Australian Leadership Awards (ALA) program will provide 3,000 scholarship slots to be administered by AusAID.

ALA will offer postgraduate studies in Australian universities. A fellowship program will also be made available for the development of leaders in education, government and business.

For next year’s scholarship, ALA’s priority study programs are in the areas of international trade, disease pandemics, security, and clean energy.
